Kalash is very important part of daily pooja (worship) in Hindu religion.
During Navaratri, as well as Ganesha Chaturthi, on the first day a Kalash / Ghata is put / installed.
Traditional beautiful silver kalash is cleaned and filled with water / rice.
It is decorated with haldi and kumkum.
